In 1968, Dimitrios Bilas founded the company Bilas Vergasertechnik in Frankfurt am Main.
In the course of its almost 50 years of existence, the company has developed into the market-leading manufacturer of TÜV-certified dual carburettor systems.
Due to the increasing requirements with regard to reducing emissions and saving resources, the successor to the twin carburettor, the single throttle injection system from racing, was made suitable for road use. In the course of modernisation, the company was renamed dbilas dynamic and is now the manufacturer of single throttle injection systems and special intake manifolds with TÜV par excellence.
The space required to expand the machinery was gained in 1992 by moving to the larger production facility in Rödermark.
In order to expand the product range, dbilas also manufactures camshafts and all other valve train components itself.
In recent years, further investments have been made in order to be able to calculate and produce turbochargers and exhaust manifolds.
In 2007, the building complex was extended to include a three-storey warehouse so that the majority of products could be stored and dispatched at short notice.
